The President of Ecuador has reportedly asked Julian Assange to stop making fun of other politicians.

The Wikileaks founder is running for a seat in the Australian Senate - despite being forbidden from leaving the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

Assange has posted a series of campaign videos, including some where he openly ridiculed the leaders of the two main Australian parties.

It's been reported that the Ecuadorian president has told Assange not to make fun of his own country's leaders while he remains housed in another country's embassy.
