A Brazilian judge is set to decide when and if two Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) officials will have their passports returned.
Kevin Kilty and Stephen Martin spent more than four hours last night being voluntarily interviewed by detectives investigating the Olympic ticket controversy.
Brazil's lead investigator in the Olympic ticket scandal, Ronaldo Oliveira, spoke briefly to reporters last night.
He said Mr Kilty and Mr Martin were very important witnesses in this probe.
He clarified that they were not suspects, and claimed detectives were very happy with the testimony they gave.
Their passports are still in the possession of police but it can not be guaranteed.
A judge will make an official ruling on the matter in the coming days.
