Jennifer Lopez has made it onto Forbes magazine’s 100 most powerful women list for the first time.

The singer has made her debut at number 38.

The highest placed celebrity was Oprah Winfrey – who was just outside the top 10 at number 11.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is at number one.
