An Internet entrepreneur from Arklow, Co. Wicklow has won a job in Australia as an "Outback Adventurer" as part of the "Best Jobs in the World" competition. He spoke to Breakfast this morning:

Allan Dixon won the title in a campaign which attracted 330,000 applicants from 196 countries.

Allan had to make presentations to Australian tourism execs as part of his bid

The competition also saw a chief funster and a taste master being appointed.

Allan, 26, is expected to start a 6 month $100,000 dollar position some time between August and December this year.
