Motorists and commuters are facing delays as Irish 'Yellow Vest' protesters march along Dublin's Custom House Quay.
They are calling for the resignation of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, over what they claim is a failure to act on housing, homelessness and health.
Luas Green Line services are reporting delays of up to 30 minutes as a result.
Operator Transdev says tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for services serving stops adjacent to the Luas route.

AA Roadwatch is advising traffic to divert away from the quays, where demonstrators are blocking the road.
Protesters have also staged a demonstration outside the GPO on O'Connell Street in the city centre.
Organiser Glenn Miller has said: "Both the Government and the opposition have failed to address the series of crises this country is faced with, the hardship of thousands of hard working families are faced with, instead they are off on another long holiday.
"This is the time of year that people think about change for the new year."
