A viral video featuring three Irish farmers discussing the reopening of their local pub received some international attention last Friday, as a clip was shown on BBC's Have I Got News For You.

The video was posted by the Irish Examiner last Friday, reporting on the reopening of the 'Top of Coom', which the owners describe as 'Ireland's Highest Pub'.

It shows three men - Dan Kelleher, Joe Kelly, and Johnny McCarthy - joking and chatting about the reopening of the pub with owner Tim Creedon. The BBC comedy show played the video at the start of Friday's episode.

The men's thick accents and lively banter has led to to video racking up tens of thousands of hits and it's television appearance has likely further increased the video's popularity.

The Top of Coom pub is located between Kilgarvan in Co Kerry, and Coolea in Co Cork. A fire destroyed the premises in May 2012, with the rebuilt pub finally opening last weekend.
