Two Irish men are to appear in court on murder charges following the death of a man in Sydney.
Christopher McLaughlin (24) and Nathan Kelly (21), who are both from Co. Donegal, had already been charged with reckless grievous bodily harm in company and affray.
The charges relate to an incident in Summer Hill area of Sydney on December 29th.
Emergency services were called to the scene where they found a 66 year old man in a critical condition on the roadside.
He lost his fight for life at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney on Monday morning.
As a result, New South Wales Police confirmed the charge had been upgraded to murder.
The men remain in the custody of New South Wales police, and are due to appear before a court on Wednesday.
