An Irish man is in a serious condition in hospital in Bulgaria following a fight at a nightclub.

A spokesperson for Den Glade Viking club said that an incident happened between a tourist and another man at the club in Sunny Beach.

Their security team reportedly brought the man to hospital for immediate aid.

The Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they're providing consular assistance to the man's family.
