Iraqi authorities say they are on the verge of retaking Ramadi from Islamic State (IS).

Backed by US-led coalition airstrikes the counter-terrorism force hope to clear the city in 36 hours.

Retaking Ramadi is seen as the most significant victory so far by Iraqi government forces in their fight to push back IS.
