Some half a million people turned out to witness Dublin's St. Patrick's Day parade yesterday.

Street performers entertained thousands of people who lined the streets.

This year's event was all about the past - and is part of a three year theme: "Let's Make History"

3,000 dancers, artists and bandmembers marched along the parade route through the city centre

Grand marshall, former Tour De France winner Stephen Roche, led the performers
