Hundreds of people have turned out in Dublin for a demonstration in support of anti-water charge protesters who are facing charges in connection with a protest in Tallaght last year.
Tánaiste Joan Burton was trapped in her car for over two hours during the protest in Jobstown last November.
Socialist TD Paul Murphy and two Anti-Austerity Alliance Councillors are among those who been served with summonses in connection with the incident.
Organisers say the charges against the protesters represent an attack on civil liberties in Ireland.
Other demonstrations in solidarity with the charged protesters are taking place in Sweden and the UK.
