Human skeletal remains have been discovered in Limerick city.
The remains were unearthed by workers digging a walkway on Nicholas Street at around 3pm.
At least three skulls, arm bones and leg bones were found in the historic old city quarter.

It is believed they date back to the 13th century.
The discovery was reportedly made by contractors employed by Limerick City Council.
They were removing a wall at the Widows’ Alms houses to provide a new access route along the river.
