An investigation's been launched by Gardaí and the HSE into the death of a woman following an incident at St Colmcille's Hospital in Dublin.

The 68-year-old woman was transferred to St Vincent's Hospital on May 17 last and passed away two days later.

the HSE confirmed an "incident" took place between two elderly patients.

Two separate investigations have been launched into the circumstances surrounding the incident and her death.
