Santa clause, fairies, the Easter Bunny - some things we believe in but never see. Well here is another such item to add to that list: an Irish weather warning for high temperatures.
Met Eireann has issued the warning saying that temperatures will reach in excess of 27 degrees every day this week. The yellow warning means that there is no immediate threat, but only to people exposed by nature of their location and/or activity.
Following on from the good outlook for the weekend just gone, this warm spell is here to stay. Highest temperatures today are set to hit 28 degrees, with tonight being very mild and humid - not falling below 13 to 16 degrees.
Tomorrow will see another dry, sunny and very warm day with between 23 and 29 degrees.
Ireland is warmer than some parts of Spain & France
Wednesday will have warm sunshine developing - especially in the midlands and west - with afternoon temperatures in the mid to high 20s.
The Met is forecasting that from Thursday to Sunday the warm, dry, humid spell will continue, with afternoon temperatures in the mid and at times high 20s inland, cooler around the coasts due to sea breezes.
It says sunshine will vary from day-to-day, and there is a slight risk of the high temperatures sparking off the odd shower some afternoons.
Time to keep believing....
