Two gardai who were questioned about suspected fraud have both been released without charge. Gardai say a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

A woman aged in her 30s has now been arrested in connection with the investigation.

She was arrested in the Dublin area late last night and is currently being held at Leixlip Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

It is believed the investigation relates to the alleged fraudulent use of bank cards. It is being led by the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
