Hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash has been getting a lot of sweet messages from other people’s grandparents on Facebook - thanks to some accidental auto-tagging.
When users update their status on the social network, its auto-tag feature suggests the names of other users to tag in the post. As a result, grandparents keep tagging Grandmaster Flash when they mean to type “grandma” or “grandpa” in their Facebook posts.
On Thursday night, the master himself weighed in. “It’s true I get a lot of posts from Grandmas. Hilarious now I know why — Respect Grandma and Grandpa. P.S. This is Hip Hop!” Grandmaster Flash wrote on his Facebook page.
