The car of the Tánaiste has been egged at an engagement in Dublin.
Irish socialist republican political party Eirigi were behind the protest.
They held placards and shouted obscenities at Mr. Gilmore.
He was attending the UNICEF Ireland launch of  their Children’s Referendum campaign in Ballyfermot.

Shouts of ‘traitor’ and ‘Out, out, out!’ can be heard as well.
Eirigi flags were also waved in front of the vehicle.
Gardaí at the event stepped in when the car was surrounded.
Several protestors also came into contact with the black BMW banging on the windows.
