Gardai are appealing for the public's help in locating a woman and her three month old baby who have been missing from the Cootehill area of county Cavan since Tuesday.

27-year-old Samantha McClorey and her three month old daughter Sienna Rose were last seen at around five o'clock on Tuesday evening.

Samantha is described as being around five foot six inches in height with brown hair and is believed to be wearing blue jeans and a black hooded top.

Anyone who has seen Samantha or Sienna Rose is asked to contact Cootehill Garda Station.
