Gardaí in Laois are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 15 year old boy.

Brian Stokes has been missing from the Mountrath area since yesterday afternoon.

He is described as 5'8'' in height, of stocky build, and short black hair. 

When last seen he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, black and white top, a red hoodie and has blue/black runners.
