Gardaí at Bailieboro Co Cavan wish to seek the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 13-year-old Christopher Healy.

Christopher was last seen at approximately 1.30pm today as he left his home at Drumacarrow Co Cavan to cycle into the town of Bailieboro.

He is described as being approximately 4'6" tall with brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a high visibility jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms, black and gold Asics trainers.

It is also believed that Christopher was wearing a cycle helmet.
