A female Garda is recovering in St James' Hospital in Dublin after her patrol car was rammed by a stolen car yesterday afternoon.

Three men were arrested at the scene in Ballyfermot. One is aged in his late teens - the others are in their twenties.

Two appeared in court last night, all have been released on bail.

The officer is said to have suffered non life threatening injuries.
