Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in a wood in Co Kildare.
The body was discovered in Rahin Woods yesterday evening. The area was sealed off for a technical examination and a search was carried out.
The body was removed to Naas General Hospital and the State Pathologist is carrying out a post mortem which will continue on Sunday.
It is believed the body may be that of missing 24-year-old Philip Finnegan who was last seen at his home in Dublin on August 10th.
A garda spokesperson said they are "investigating all the circumstances" surrounding the discovery.
They are appealing to anyone who was in Rahin woods in the month of August and noticed any suspicious or unusual activity to contact them at Leixlip garda station.
