Four people have been injured, one seriously, following a collision involving three vehicles, including a garda car in County Kerry.

The incident happened shortly before 8pm, on the main Tralee-Killarney road, Radio Kerry reports.

The collision happened at an area called Brennan's Glen at around 7.50pm.

The injured have been taken to Kerry General Hospital.

The road has been closed and diversions are in place at Farranfore village.
