Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance following a shooting at a car park in Islandbridge in Dublin last night.

Gardaí have confirmed that a red Honda Civic car rammed a silver BMW in the carpark adjacent to the Islandbridge Court Apartments and Bellevue Apartments at around 7 O'Clock.

The two men in the red Honda Civic proceeded to run after a 35-year-old man in the silver BMW and fired a number of shots.

The 35-year-old man escaped into Bellevue Apartments and was uninjured.

One of the gunmen is described as being 5' 8", wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans.
