Gardaí have launched an appeal for help in the search for a missing Galway man who was last seen in Dublin.

Seán Ó hIarnain also known as as John Hernon from Carna - hasn't been seen since August 29th.

The 46-year-old was last seen leaving Days Hotel in Ballymun in Dublin - having travelled from Galway the day before.

Seán is described as:

• 6ft 2"
• Of broad build
• Grey hair
• Blue eyes

He's believed to be driving a white Volvo S60 car with registration 152 G 1374 and may be in the greater Dublin or Kildare area.
