Today will start with frost in many parts with some fog as well. The frost and fog will gradually clear and a few sunny spells will develop.
However, showers will affect the south and east coast from early on and they will become more widespread as the day goes on.
Cold again with highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees generally, though it will be a bit less cold in the south.
Southeast winds will be light to moderate.
Tonight
Tonight showers will continue for a while in the east and north, but it will become mainly dry elsewhere.
Lowest temperatures 1 to 4 degrees with a touch of frost in the south.
Light to moderate southeast winds will freshen along east and north coasts.
