In Britain, a 20 year old shop worker’s admitted trying to falsely claim a 1 million pound lottery prize.

Farrakh Nizzar, from Crumpsall in Manchester, told 77 year old Maureen Holt she hadn’t won anything when he checked her numbers.

He then kept the ticket and rang to claim the prize himself.

The scam was uncovered when the EuroMillions ticket was traced back to Mrs Holt’s Tesco Clubcard.
