Donald Trump announces that Kim Jong-Un deserves credit for wiping out his rivals

The outspoken Republican candidate said it was "incredible" how the leader of the totalitarian communist regime had consolidated his grip on power.

It is the latest controversial comment by the property billionaire who has praised the Russian President Vladimir Putin, referred to some Mexicans as "rapists and criminals", mocked a disabled reporter, and called for a ban on Muslims entering the US.

Tranmere and Barrow met in the National League (the erstwhile Conference) on Saturday, and while there was romance, magic, and the odd banana skin for teams in the FA Cup, this was undoubtedly the most incredible match of the day. 

Despite having taken the lead in the first half, Tranmere went into injury time trailing 3-1 after Barrow scored three goals in the second half, two of which came after the 80 minute mark. Somehow, some way, Tranmere pulled it out of the bag. 

Dog who became trapped on Howth Head cliff rescued by Coast Guard team

The Howth Coast Guard team has successfully rescued a dog that became trapped on sea cliffs on Sunday.

12-year-old Boxer Hooch had fallen 15 metres into the water at Balscaden on Howth Head. He managed to scramble back onto rocks but became stuck on a ledge.

Conor McGregor reponds to Floyd Mayweather's comments on racism

Amid speculation that he will headline UFC 197 in March to face Rafael dos Anjos for the 155-pound title, Conor McGregor took to social media to address comments on racism made by boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather, whose professional record stands at 49-0, made the comments regarding McGregor in an interview with Yahoo Sports and said that the fact the his "trash-talking" was lauded was  proof of racism and double standards within the American public.

Mexican authorities claim Sean Penn interview helped lead to recapture of "El Chapo"

Sean Penn interviewed Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman months before he was recaptured, it has emerged.

The actor, whose exchange with the notorious fugitive has been published byRolling Stone magazine, secretly met the cartel kingpin in a rural part of Mexico - in a move which reportedly helped the authorities discover his whereabouts and plan the arrest.
