Fire crews are continuing to a tackle a large gorse fire on Bray Head this evening.
The fire broke out shortly after midday and a number of units are still at the scene in County Wicklow.
Gardaí are asking people to avoid the area as emergency services try to bring the blaze under control.
Motorists are also warned the smoke may affect visibility around Bray, particularly around the Southern Cross Road.
It follows two gorse fires at the location in recent weeks.
