Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade have safely delivered a baby boy in North County Dublin.

The crew were first to attend the scene after a woman went into labour in her house in Chapel Farm estate in Lusk.

With the crew's assistance, the newborn was delivered safely at around 4.30pm.

The mother and baby are now at the Rotunda and are said to be doing well.
