Three fishermen were rescued off the Cork coast today by the Irish Coastguard and RNLI when their trawler lost power and crashed into rocks.
The vessel could not get away from the rocks as they drifted close to the entrance to Kinsale harbour. Stormy conditions forced the crew to issue a distress call and abandon the trawler.
There are concerns that more than a thousand women, have been subjected to an horrific practice known as "breast ironing" in Britain.
The ritual consists of young girls being beaten, burnt and massaged in an attempt to stop them developing properly and thus make them less attractive to the opposite sex so they can focus more on school work.

Burger King employees in America, were tricked into smashing the windows of a restaurant to stop an explosion, when they received a phone call from someone purporting to be from the fire department.
Police say that employees at the Minnesota branch, received a prank call on Friday night claiming that the restaurant would explode unless the pressure was released. Both the manager and the workers believed the caller and smashed the windows on the ground floor, to comply with the instructions of the fake fire department representative.
