MPs vote overwhelmingly to reject Theresa May's Brexit deal
Theresa May's Brexit deal has been defeated in the House of Commons.
After months of debate and build-up, the withdrawal agreement was overwhelmingly rejected by MPs in the crucial 'meaningful vote'.
Labour's Jeremy Corbyn confirmed his party had tabled a motion of no confidence in the British government, in the wake of what he described as a "catastrophic" defeat.
The Irish Government, meanwhile, said it "regrets the outcome" of tonight's vote - saying it "increases the risk of a disorderly Brexit".
Gunmen attack hotel and bank complex in Kenya

Several people are reported to have been killed after gunmen stormed a hotel complex in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
The incident unfolded at the complex which houses a large hotel, along with several banks and offices.
Footage from the scene showed a number of cars on fire, and people being rushed and carried away from the scene.
Government officials confirmed on Tuesday evening that all buildings have now been secured.
Supermac's wins long-running battle of the burgers against McDonalds
Irish fast food chain Supermac's has won a long running case against US giants McDonalds over the use of the use of the iconic 'Big Mac' trademark.
The landmark judgement from the Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) means that McDonald's use of the 'Big Mac' and 'Mc' trademarks has been cancelled across Europe.
The EUIPO found that McDonalds had not proven genuine use of the Big Mac trademark as a burger or restaurant name, " for any of the goods and services for which it is registered."

Campaigner Vicky Phelan has welcomed the Government's pledge to bring forward the establishment of a tribunal of compensation for women caught up in the CervicalCheck scandal.
It comes after the Taoiseach agreed to make the establishment of the tribunal one of the Government's priorities for the first half of the year.
On Newstalk Breakfast this morning, Ms Phelan welcomed the move - but said it was unfortunate that it took public pressure to get there.
Danny Healy-Rae claims vegetarians have never worked a hard day in their lives
A Kerry TD has claimed that anyone who gives up meat has never worked a hard day in their lives.
Danny Healy-Rae said a piece of good meat is the only thing that can revive you after a hard day's graft.
He was speaking after the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said he was trying to cut down on how much meat he eats to help reduce his carbon footprint.
