The mother of a missing 15-year-old girl has made an emotional appeal for information about the whereabouts of her daughter.

Chloe Kinsella has not been seen since leaving her home in Killeely in Limerick city on Saturday night.

A major land and water search is underway. Gardaí say they are "concerned" for her safety as her disappearance is out of character.

Chloe's mother Shirley says that last few days have been a nightmare.
