Limerick City Hotel, formerly Jury's Inn, has reopened following a fire last night.
A large section of the front exterior of the building was destroyed in the blaze which broke out at about 8 o'clock.
Around 100 guests were evacuated from the hotel and Lower Mallow Street was closed to traffic.

No injuries have been reported.
The hotel reopened around 3am today.
