Operating profits at the company which operates Eddie Rockets fell by 36% to €598,380 last year.
This is in spite of the fact that gross profits at Eddie Rocket's (Ireland) increased from €8.27m to €9.13m.
The firm recorded a pre-tax loss of €446,193 - this was due to a €1m write-down in property values.
The director's report said that "the trading results for the year and the financial position at year end were considered satisfactory by the directors."
The number of people employed by the firm increased from 172 to 194 as staff costs rose from €4.45m to €4.9m.
Meanwhile remuneration for the company's directors fell from €688,174 to €528,098.
The report said that, "revenue and profitability have been maintained at a consistent level during the year due to continued patronage of customers. The future success of the company is based on its ability to win new and retain existing customers whilst maintaining expenditure in line with sustainable revenue streams."
Eddie Rockets has remained in expansion mode, it began to roll out its Rocket’s sub-brand late in 2014 - offering pushed-for-time customers a fast food experience.
The chain currently has 31 Eddie Rocket's diners across Ireland, and an additional four Rocket's outlets.
