4,000 ‘techies’ are gathering in Dublin today and tomorrow for the largest tech conference in Europe.
The Dublin Web Summit is in its 3rd year andwill contribute over €12 million to the Irish economy as well as to cement the reputation of the city as a tech capital.
Over 200 international speakers and 3,000 plus attendees from over 50 countries are set to attend 2-day event.
It will host seasoned CEOs behind multi-billion euro businesses as well as over 250 start-up firms from all over the world.
The conference also features several key speakers from global online firms.
These include senior figures from AOL, Skype and Google.
The website for the gathering says “the Summit is all about networking and creating value for your business. We help you meet the types of people that can help take your business or idea to the next level”.
It also says it hopes attendees will leave Dublin with a new and valuable network of business contacts and leads from around the world.
