Gardai in Dublin are renewing their appeal for information about the murder of a man at the weekend. Dean Johnson was shot dead in Ronanstown on Friday night.

Just after midnight on Friday night Mr. Johnsown was found at Harelawn Green in Ronanstown. He had been shot a number of times in the head and body.

Today gardai are renewing their appeal for information about his murder.

They want to speak to any passengers who were on the Number 25 Nitelink Bus that left Westmoreland Street at midnight on Friday night.

In particular they would like to talk to passengers who continued their journey on the bus from Liffey Valley to the end of the route.

The bus was travelling on the Neilstown Road at the time and passed the scene of the shooting at around 12:20am.
