Nearly 33,000 fewer people will receive the pandemic unemployment payment tomorrow, compared to last week.
Over 465,000 will claim the €350 payment this week.
30,000 people have closed their claim since last week, according to the Department of Social Protection.
The Government says 17,000 people will receive the payment for the last time this week as they return to work.
Elizabeth Canavan from the Department of the Taoiseach said the number of people receiving the payment has dropped as the country reopens.
She explained: "Last week, approximately 23,900 people in receipt of pandemic unemployment payment closed their claim as they had returned to work.
"Since the start of reopening, over 125,000 people have closed their claim as they have returned to work."
Social Protection Minister Regina Doherty says there's now "clear evidence that many businesses are returning slowly but surely".
She said: "Already we are seeing early but healthy signs of the economy beginning to recover as workplaces and society continue to re-open from the COVID-19 pandemic, which is a welcome and positive signal for everyone.”
It comes two weeks after the beginning of 'phase two' of easing lockdown, with most shops in the country now allowed to reopen.
It was confirmed on Friday that more businesses - including hairdressers, barbers, gyms and cinemas - will be allowed reopen from Monday June 29th, earlier than initially planned.
Restaurants, cafés and pubs which serve food will also be able to reopen from June 29th.
