A documentary about the refugee crisis has won the top prize at this year's Berlin Film Festival.

The Golden Bear was awarded to director Gianfranco Rosi's film Fire At Sea (Fuocoammare), which focuses on the island of Lampedusa and the people living there.

The best director award went to Mia Hansen-Løve (whose film Eden, about the French electronic music scene, was released in Ireland last year) for her latest film Things to Come (L'avenir).
