Former Anglo Irish Bank chief David Drumm will remain in custody for another three weeks after his detention hearing was delayed until November 13th.
Massachusetts District Court Judge Donald Cabell granted the request from the defense for postponement. He told the court on Friday that further delays would only be permitted if "good cause" was shown.
The delay was requested by Drumm so that his his lawyer, Boston attorney Tracy Miner, could have time to work with his new legal team on his defense case.
Miner told the court that the new team required time to "develop and obtain salient information including additional information from counsel in Ireland." The prosecution did not oppose this request.
This is the second time Drumm's detention hearing has been delayed. Originally scheduled for October 16th, a similar motion by the defense was filed to continue the hearing until the 26th.
