Danny Boyle has confirmed in an interview that he is looking at a Trainspotting sequel as his next film following a Steve Jobs biopic.
The director has reportedly told Deadline that all four of the main characters are willing to return for a sequel to the film which was released almost 20 years ago.
He told the website: “All the four main actors want to come back and do it.
“Now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series."
According to the report, the writer of the previous film John Hodge has written the film based on Irvine Welsh's follow-up, Porno.
The stars from the first film include Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle, Kevin McKidd, Ewen Bremner and Kelly Macdonald.
