Dallas nurse Nina Pham is to be reunited with her much loved dog tomorrow after being declared Ebola-free last week.
Bentley, a King Charles Spaniel, has been in quarantine for 21 days over fears that he, too, would develop the deadly virus after Pham was taken ill.
Bentley was tested to ensure he was not carrying the virus, with all three tests coming back negative.
"All three samples came back negative today," Sana Syed, a Dallas city spokeswoman told CNN. "We're planning the big reunion for Saturday -- Nina is ready!"
The dog became a nationally known pet when his owner was taken ill, as a picture of Pham and Bentley was the most used image of Pham on broadcasts and online.
