Anybody who has not yet registered to vote has only tomorrow - Tuesday May 5th - to register in advance of the Presidential Age Referendum and Marriage Referendum on May 22nd.
Friday was the last day to get postal votes sent away, but registration forms can still be delivered in person tomorrow.
If you want to check if you're registered, you can Check the Register here.
To get the form you need in the event you aren't registered, go here: https://www.checktheregister.ie/appforms/RFA2_English_Form.pdf
Once the form is downloaded you need to go to a garda station to have the form stamped and witnessed by a garda.
You'll then need to ensure the form arrives at the franchise section of your local city or county council by 5pm on Tuesday.
A poll conducted by the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) last year found that 30% of 18-25 year olds were not registered to vote. Based on the most recent data available from the central statistics office that means some 120,000 people aren't registered.
James Doorley, NYCI deputy director said: “We know from our work with young people that the vast majority of them want to vote but are not aware they have to register to vote or only become aware after the deadline for inclusion in the supplementary register. This is particularly an issue for young people who turned 18 and became eligible to vote since the local and European elections in 2014.”
