Renua leader Lucinda Creighton says most Irish people have lost confidence in the Government and a general election should be called immediately.
Deputy Creighton was responding to questions about whether the Taoiseach should resign over the Fennelly report, which found that while he did not sack Martin Callinan, his decision to send a civil servant to meet the former Garda Commissioner influenced Mr Callinan's decision.
Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin are already pledging to hold motions of no confidence in Enda Kenny.
And Renua's Lucinda Creighton says the Taoiseach should put the matter to the electorate.
