Figures released by the HSE earlier today showed there were 123 patients with confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Irish hospitals.

That includes 41 in intensive care - the lowest figure reported so far this year.

Meanwhile, health officials are meeting later today to discuss a recent ‘spike’ in coronavirus cases in Donegal.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly said they’ll be looking at what additional supports can be deployed to help the situation in the county.
