There have been 423 new cases of coronavirus in Ireland.

Five further COVID-related deaths have also been reported today - four of which occurred in April and one in February.

Of today's new cases, 199 were in Dublin, 41 in Kildare, 23 in Meath, 20 in Galway, 18 in Westmeath and the remaining 122 were spread across 19 other counties.

The national five-day average of new cases is now 430.

The latest figures show there were 232 COVID-19 patients being treated in Irish hospitals this morning, including 56 in ICU.

Data also shows that 936,087 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered as of Sunday.
