As of this morning, there were 347 COVID-19 patients in Irish hospitals - up from 324 yesterday.

There are 60 patients in ICU, a decrease of one patient compared to yesterday.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan yesterday warned that COVID-19 transmission levels are still "simply too high" in Ireland.

He urged people to continue to follow the public health advice, and for anyone who hadn't received a vaccine so far to come forward.

He also said it's "not too late" for people who missed an appointment to get their second dose.
