The Claire Byrne Show has achieved one million podcast downloads, after less than three months on the radio.
In the history of Bauer Media Audio Ireland, no programme has ever hit the landmark milestone in such a short period of time.
Newstalk Managing Editor Eric Moylan described the achievement as a “credit to the entire Claire Byrne Show team”.
“Hitting such a significant milestone so quickly shows the incredible connection Claire has with the public,” he said.
“We’re just a couple of months after launch with plenty more to come in the weeks and months ahead.”

The Claire Byrne Show airs every weekday on Newstalk between 9 and 12am.
Since launching, Claire has interviewed a wide variety of guests, ranging from An Taoiseach Micheál Martin to Katie Taylor, Joanne McNally and Colm Meaney.
