Afternoon temperatures of 4 to 6 degrees, and very windy at times this morning in some coastal counties of the southwest, south and east.

Cold tonight and becoming mostly dry, as showers die away early tonight. Frost developing as temperatures fall to between 0 and 4 degrees.

Thickening cloud will clear the frost in southern areas later in the night, as rain develops in southern coastal areas.
