Knowing your limits is one way to consume alcohol responsibly - but so is reducing the ecological footprint of your drinking.
Paperboy is a new line of wine stored in cardboard bottles that's just hit shelves in the US. The company aims to reduce waste by using completely recyclable wine bottles, which are conveniently 80% lighter than glass.
The bottle is made from a pulped cardboard shell with a plastic bladder, and its production and transport leave a considerably lighter carbon footprint.
This means your wine is now more portable and less wasteful, making it perfect for a hike or a trip to the beach. The cardboard also keeps it cooler, so you can leave the ice bucket at home too.
And thanks to the stylish bottle design, it's got none of the shame of a three-litre box of Rosé.
Win win.
